About the Team

In 2020, motorsport enthusiast John Farrow made the decision to implement a lifelong dream and start a race team. With his passion for auto racing, and his desire to help Canadian motorsport athletes, he launched JMF Motorsports. His vision was to start a racing team that would help showcase young Canadian driver talent and assist them in advancing their racing careers.

JMF Motorsports started by entering a few races of the SRO GT4 America series in 2021 and quickly became podium contenders. Competing solely in the GT4 category in 2022 and 2023, 2024 saw some additions as JMF competed in both the SRO GT4 America series and the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series. They also branched out to compete in the Toyota GR Cup, as well as running a Canadian-based karting team.

In 2025, JMF underwent a massive expansion.They entered GT World Challenge America with a Mercedes-AMG GT3, fielded 2 Aston Martin Vantage entries in GT4 America, and 2 Toyota GR Corolla entries in Touring Car America. In 2025 alone, JMF teams garnered 12 wins and 31 total podium finishes, ending the season 2nd in the GT World Challenge championship, 2nd in the TC America championship, and 3rd in the GT4 America championship.

Throughout their five years of SRO America competition, JMF Motorsports has amassed 23 wins and 60 podium finishes!  The team keeps getting stronger and smarter and is always a championship contender. The future is upward.
